I know it's not my attached devices since I've tried this with multiple USB 3.0 devices. Unfortunately, I still am only getting around 38 kbps and the 'This Device Can Perform Faster on a Super Speed USB 3.0 Port' message is also still popping up. Any suggestions? USB 2 maxes out at 480Mbps (or about 60 MB/s) and USB 3 at 5Gbps (or about 625 MB/s) so it looks like I'm only getting a very average USB 2 rate. However, when I tried copying a 500GB backup file from one of my internal SATA II hard drives to the My Book, I was only getting a bit over 34 MB/s transfer rate. I installed the card per the instructions and hooked up a power cable to it. I just purchased a 3TB WD 'My Book' external hard drive which is designed for USB 3.0 so I also bought a Rocketfish USB 3.0 PCI Express Card.
